Key Takeaways
- Clemson plays seven home games in 2026, from Sept. 12 against Georgia Southern to Nov. 28 against South Carolina.
- On-campus RV spaces go to IPTAY donors by giving level, so most fans need an off-campus plan.
- Clemson RV Park at The Grove in historic Pendleton has full hook-up sites, a gameday shuttle, and Friday night dinner with live bands on home weekends.
Clemson Memorial Stadium, better known as Death Valley, draws huge crowds and some of the best tailgating in college football, and plenty of those tailgates start in an RV. The hard part is finding a place to put it.
Here is what to know about Clemson football RV parking in 2026, and how to turn a single game into a full weekend just down the road from Memorial Stadium.

Clemson Football RV Parking on Campus
On-campus RV parking is managed through IPTAY, Clemson’s donor organization, and passes are limited. Spaces are reassigned every year by giving level, and ahead of the 2025 season IPTAY told members it expected a single RV space to require a Heisman-level membership.
For everyone else, dedicated RV parks and campgrounds off campus are the way to go, and the best ones book up months in advance.
Why Full Hook-Ups Matter on Game Day
- Power without a generator: 30 and 50 amp service runs your AC in September and your heat in November.
- Water and sewer at your site: no rationing tanks or leaving early.
- Room to spread out: 65-foot sites fit RVs up to 45 feet plus a tow vehicle.
- Showers and laundry: a full bath house makes a three-night stay easy.
Not sure which service your rig needs? Read our guide to 30 amp vs. 50 amp RVs. Every site at Clemson RV Park has both.
A Home Game Weekend at The Grove
Friday: Check In, Dinner and Live Bands
Football check-in starts at 1 PM. Clemson RV Park hosts catered dinners and live bands during football season, and every football reservation includes two Friday meal tickets. Add extra guests 7 days before check-in.
Saturday: Ride the Shuttle to Death Valley
Tailgate at your site, then ride the gameday shuttle to Memorial Stadium and back. A shuttle is the easiest way to avoid game day traffic congestion and the parking hunt. 4-seater golf carts are also available to rent.
Sunday: Easy Checkout
Checkout is at 11 AM, and late checkout is available for a fee if you want the roads to clear.

Getting to the Park
The campground is at 150 Dalton Drive in historic Pendleton, about 3 miles from Clemson University and close to Lake Hartwell, one of the largest lakes in the Southeast. From I-85, take Exit 19 from the Charlotte direction or Exit 14 from Atlanta. Directions are on our Info page.
Game Day Tips
- Book months in advance. Rivalry weekend and marquee ACC games fill first.
- Bring a screw-in sewer ring. They are required, and the camp store sells them.
- Keep canopies open. Enclosed tents are not allowed, and canopies come down after 5 days.
- Leave the generator home. Strict generator rules keep the park quiet, and generators are not allowed.
- Know quiet hours. During football season, quiet time runs midnight to 7 AM.
